Numerical Investigation of a Local Precise Reinforcement Method for Dynamic Stability of Rock Slope under Earthquakes Using Continuum–Discontinuum Element Method

The slope reinforcement scheme has an important influence on the prevention and control of landslides. A reasonable can improve reliability, economy efficiency landslide resistance. It is urgent to establish a local precise method for landslides basis clear process instability modes Taking high-steep anti-dip rock as example, six numerical models are established by using continuum–discontinuum element (CDEM) carry out seismic damage dynamic analysis slopes. By comparing response characteristics being unstrengthened, overall models, applicability proposed slopes discussed. results show that determination amplifying effect primary prerequisite method. amplification toe, crest shallow surface much larger, is, they potential areas. precision times should be controlled within certain number times, after first three best. However, more than it becomes worse. Moreover, effect, equivalent crack ratio mechanical energy similar which indicates good feasibility. This work provide references disasters control.
